What I've been up to! June

At the beginning of June I was in Scotland, where I had some time off to visit my family. It was so much fun to be there, and was also really relaxing. I really enjoy being in Scotland.

In June, NYFC had the privilege of being able to plan and run the youth activities for Celebrate, which is a joint churches celebration in faith. We had lots of fun playing cage football, a gladiator tournament, a sofa prayer space and a stage for performances.

Fathers heart was a church weekend in Ashill, where the Norfolk yfc centres were leading the youth work. Whilst we were there, I was presenting the youth sessions, which consisted of worship, group games, challenges and a talk.
The weekend was based on super heroes, and therefore in the week beforehand we were making lots of super hero themed decorations, including lots of life sized cardboard cutouts of different superheroes.
The weekend was so good, with about 30 young people who were engaging with sessions, with a couple of them committing their life to Christ.

Prayer points:
That all the young people at Fathers heart remember the talks and are able to take in what we said.
The planning for celebrate next year will go smoothly.
