8 films to look forward to in 2018
Helllloooooo! Sorry, it’s been so long, uni, then Christmas started to take over my life, but I’m back and looking forward to this year.
Over the last few months I’ve seen loads of trailers for films coming out in 2018 in their are quite a few I am looking forward to. Some of the look fantastic, some of them are sequels to movies I love, and other ones just seem crap but also look like a laugh. Out of the thousands of films coming out next year I want to watch, I’ve narrowed it down to 8.
Peter Rabbit
This film just looks adorable, and very similar to Paddington. The voice is by James Corden, which is terrific, and I have very high expectations for this film. I can imagine a whole day dedicated to going to the cinema to watch this film.

Sherlock Gnomes
As much as I know this will be an awful film, it's hilarious and cute and a great film to take my brother to. It’s almost a sequel to ‘gnomeo and Juliet’ and this time is a parody to Sherlock Holmes (I know, I couldn’t tell either!).

Incredibles 2
I’m so excited for this film! I loved the first film when it came out and watched it countless times when I was growing up. I’ve not actually heard much about the plot line for the film so even more excited to see what the film will bring.

Fantastic beasts: the crimes of Grindelwald
I’m a massive fan of Harry Potter, but not so much of fantastic beasts but I still enjoy it. I’ve only watched the first one once but I really wanted to watch the second one. I am concerned though that it won’t be as good as the first one.

Mamma Mia! Here we go again
At the time of mania Mia coming out, I loved it and thought it was amazing. However now I don’t think it is that great. I have no idea what they are going to do with this film, as they have pretty much run out of ABBA songs, but part of me is inteages and wants to see if they can turn the idea into a good film.

Ralph breaks the internet: Wreck it Ralph 2
No matter what anyone else says, the first film was amazing and I have high expectations for the second. The first film is about Ralph escaping his video game after getting annoyed at always being seen as the bad guy.

Johnny English 3
Yet again, loads of people have Jonny English, but I think it is genius. It is about a spy who isn’t very good at his job and always making mistakes. It is very funny and made even better by the main character being played by Rowen Atkinson, so there is an element of Mr Bean in there as well. There is part of me that thinks that maybe the Jonny English franchise has gone on for too long, but I am open to more films as long as they are also amazing.
The Greatest Showman
This film just looks so epic and the music is so good. I also want to see what Zac Efron is like playing an adult rather than a weird teen who is clearly an adult (we will have to see).
