Afternoon tea: Marygreen Manor, Brentwood

For my mums birthday, I decided to take her out for afternoon tea. After a lot of research of afternoon tea near Romford, I found Tudors restaurant in Marygreen Manor, in Brentwood.
The restaurant is a great old style with traditional beams and old paintings. It was very busy, a sign of how amazing the food was, but not too overwhelming.
When we arrived we were shown the tea menu and I ordered a rooibos, and my mum ordered a traditional tea. The variety of teas available was amazing.
Next, the food arrived. We each had a selection sandwich’s, cakes and scones. They were able to make me a gluten free selection which was amazing. The food was amazing, especially the scones.
Overall, it was such a lovely afternoon, and such a bargain for only £17.50. I would defiantly recommend this afternoon tea to anyone in the area.
Bye guys! Speak to you all soon.
