Scotland '18: Loch Ness
(Confession: I wrote this, and many other blog posts, over the summer, and then forgot to post them. Sorry!! But I guess, better late than never.)
While I was staying in Inverness, I had the chance to go to Loch Ness. There are loads of places near Loch Ness where you can go an visit, so I decided to go to Fort Augustus as it is well known for its cafés and places to walk.
I took a Scottish city link coach which took about an hour. Once I got there, I instantly started exploring and finding different paths along the Loch. The weather was awful, really windy and rainy, which was made worse by my coat breaking. It wasn’t going well.
Once it the sun came out, it became lovely. There is loads to do in this little village, and there are even boat tours out into the Loch if that is something you want to do.
If you are looking to go out to see Loch Ness, I would recommend Fort Augustus as it is beautiful and a great place to see Loch Ness. However, I would check the weather forecast and see if you can go when it is good weather, as it just wasn’t that fun when it was raining as everything is based outside.
Bye guys! Speak to you all soon.
