Moving House

 

Hey everyone, how are you doing?

For those who didn't know, I ended up moving quite a lot during the lockdown. Lockdown in the UK started in March 2020, I then moved in with a friend (whose husband had to move out due to shielding) in May due to struggling and feeling lonely during the lockdown. This was loads of fun and I was so thankful that she let me stay with her. At the end of July, when her husband moved back in, I moved in with the family that I lived with during my gap year. This was always temporary as my friend, Rosie, was buying a house and I was going to move in with her.

The house purchase finally went through and Rosie and I moved into her house at the end of October. We have painted, done (very small!) DIY projects and built lots of furniture. 

Life has been very busy since then, even though we went straight into lockdown 2.0 soon after. However, Rosie and I have been able to spend some time together getting used to the house. We've even vlogged the main IKEA furniture building day.

Once my room is completely sorted (that may be a while!) I'll show how I've organised everything and made that space my own.

So, in summary, I have lived in 4 different houses in 2020! Let's hope I don't move again for a long time.
