Jumanji: The Next Level- 12

Jumanji: The Next Level is the next chapter in the Jumanji series. A group of teenagers are transported into a video game, each playing a different character. To escape, they have to complete the game. The film continues on from the previous movie following the lives of the same characters.

I went to see this film at the cinema with my little brother when he was visiting. We went to watch the previous one with our family at the cinema a couple of years ago, and we were both excited about watching this film.

There are several incredible actors in this film:

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson: As well as acting in many films, Johnson was a professional wrestler for many years.

Kevin Hart: Known for a number of roles including Little Fockers, The Secret Life of Pets and Night School.

Jack Black: Black is hilarious, and I love him in some many films including Shallow Hal, Gulliver's Travels and Ice Age.

My favourite bit was how it gave me a new way of looking at people who are transgender. It can be a topic that people struggle with understanding. Still, while watching the film, it occurred to me that the idea of people changing the bodies that they are, without their choice, it is similar to being transgender, and not being in a body that you can identify with. Even though it is not a perfect parallel, it helped me to understand it more.

I would love to watch this film again, it's such a funny, feel-good film that everyone should watch. I think it is equally as good as the first film.
