Autumn 2020

 

Hey everyone! How are you doing?

If you don't know, Autumn is my favourite season! I love the fact that it is cold enough to snuggle with blankets, but not too cold. I love the leaves on the trees going lovely colours, and the amazing food and drinks available at this time of the year. 

At work recently I got to judge a photography competition for the young people where the theme was 'Autumn'. I told them that I was particularly looking for 'The joy of Autumn' and had loads of fun looking at the kids creativity and seeing what they could come up with. I honestly believe that Autumn brings loads of joy and I just cant express how much I love the season.

I love so much about this season, so here are my top three aspects of Autumn.

Scarfs

Autumn for me is the opportunity to get the thick wooly oversized scarfes out of the wardrobe. My favourite scarf at the moment is one I got from Lisa Angel, a local business in Norwich that ships out across the world.

PSL

Pumpkin Spice Latte is one of my favourite ever drinks, I wish it was available all year round. Autumn starts for me when I buy my first PSL. TYou cant really get anything else pumpkin spice flavoured in the UK, so I shall have to live out my pumpkin spice love through lattes.

P.S. To be honest, as much as I love PSLs, the fact that I can use any hot drink in Autumn to keep myself warm brings joy.

Blankets

I love blankets so much, to the point where I will have them with me on the sofa if the weather is super hot. So the cooler weather means I can snuggle up with blankets 24/7. This year at the beginning of Autumn I brought a new hoodie blanket! It is so soft and cozy, I wear it round the house all the time.

I hope you guys love Autumn as much as I do! I feel like it has definitely brightened up this super bad year (even if it has only brightened up my world ever so slightly).
