Knives out - 12A

Knives out is a murder mystery where a private investigator, played by Daniel Craig, is investigating the murder of Harlan Thrombey, a rich author with a broken family and loyal staff.

I watched this in the cinema by myself over Christmas when loads of my friends were away visiting family. It was a late-night showing, so I snuck some Nandos and a blanket it, grabbed a chai latte at the costa in the cinema and went in. It was a great relaxed evening and think this is how cinema trips should happen all the time.

There were several great actors in this. The ones I recognised the most are:

Daniel Craig, mainly known for James Bond.

Katherine Langford, who I know from 13 reasons why.

Riki Lindhome, who has been in many different films and TV shows but I recognised from Gilmore girls, where she played one of Rory's school friends from Stars Hollow High near the beginning of the show then where she played Juliet, one of Logan's friends.

I'm not one for murder mysteries, but after hearing loads of great reviews, I thought I would give it a go. It was different from most murder mysteries, and I would recommend it to everyone. It does have some scenes of blood, but not too much so even I could stand it.

The film is based in America but has some non-American cast, including Katherine Langford and Daniel Craig. Langford's American accent was brilliant, similar to her accent in 13 reasons why and so good that no one would notice that she is Australian. However, Craig's accent was hilarious. It was so bad, and I was struggling to hold back the laughter in the cinema. Could they not have had him as a British PI?

I would definitely watch this again and would like to buy it on DVD when it comes out.

Here is the trailer!
