Scotland Trip Plans

At the end of this month, I'm going on a three-week backpacking trip around Scotland. The aim of this trip to visit all the cities in Scotland that I have not been to yet, whilst also visiting friends.


Glasgow.

The first place I am going is to a small town outside Glasgow to visit a friend for a couple of days. This friend used to live in Norwich and I haven't seen her since January so I am super excited to see her. We haven't got anything planned yet but I’m sure we will have a great time.


Pitlochry.

Next, I am going to Pitlochry. Pitlochry is a small touristy town about an hour outside Perth where the highlands start. It is such a pretty place and I have been there so many times as my Grandpa has a caravan there. The photo at the top was from when I was there in July 2017. I’m planning to take a day trip to Stirling because I have not been there before. I will only be there for half a day so I will not be able to see a lot, but my plan is to just wander around and see what happens. Other than this, I’m planning to just relax and do nothing else there, it's gonna be great.


Inverness.

Next, I’m going to Inverness, I’ve never been there so I’m pretty excited. I’m planning to stay in a hostel in the city centre and explore for a day. Whilst I am staying in Inverness I am planning to take a day trip to Loch Ness which is only half an hour away. I’ve done some research into where to, and I think I have settled on Dores, which is a small village on Loch Ness with an Inn and lots of walkways around.


Aberdeen.

Next, I am going to Aberdeen, another city I am never been to. I am going to have a day here exploring. Again, I’m planning so exploring and seeing what is happening when you get there.


Montrose.

My final stop is Montrose, which is a town between Aberdeen and Dundee. I have a friend living here who I haven't seen since October so I am super excited to stay with her and spend some time.


So these are my plans! Yes, they are very vague so if you have any suggestions of what I could do in these places let me know.
